A bus service goes to the city centre every 10 minutes from the nearby Tesco superstore and the railway line runs behind the park.
You are within easy reach of York's main ring road ideal for an outing to the seaside moors or dales. The resident owners are at hand for friendly help and advice.

"The site was in the countryside, and we could enjoy the wild life of ducks, geese etc, and fishermen, yet the site was within walking distance of the shops, and York centre. It is quite unusual to feel that you are deep within the countryside, yet be able to walk to the Tesco store nearby. "This site is in an excellent location to vist York city centre. The park and ride is a short walk away. The bus fare was £2.30 per adult return, children go free - cheaper than taking your car and parking up! Tesco's is near the park and ride so when you get off the bus you can pick up your groceries at the same time before strolling back to your lodge. 06/06/2011 05:10:26"
