"What a lovely park this was and Steven and Diane were very welcoming. The lodges were spacious, clean and tidy. There was a fishing lake and although we did not fish, the feedback was excellent and the lake well stocked. The paddock to walk the dogs was brilliant and just the right size, for them to exercise. The bar and restaurant were very good, the food second to none, my compliments to the chef. The general area was good with the park being a good base with which to start, local shops were approximately 4 miles away and more general amenities at Hornsea, which will soon have a large Tesco. Scarborough is near and makes a brilliant day out as does Whitby, with its Abbey and close connection to Bram Stokers Dracula, a must for Gothic fans. I cannot praise this site enough for its warm and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone. 04/09/2011 00:00:00"
"Really great lodges for a quiet break. The lodges are very well laid out and very spacious, the park is very well maintained and the fishing is fantastic. "We have just returned from a last minute family New Year break and couldn't have asked for more. The cabin was really big and immaculate, and situated right on the lake. The pub on site is lovely, and the staff were fab, and the local attractions are all within a 20 minute car ride. We stayed with our 2 year old and took our dog and we are already planning a return trip! Highly recommended!! 03/01/2012 00:00:00"
