On the edge of Tollerton Village this select 14 acre holiday park has views of the White Horse of Kilburn set in the Hambledon Hills. The old market town of Easingwold is within 2 miles and York is only a short drive away. The main London to Edinburgh line borders the park which is surrounded by green countryside.

"Ideally situated for York, about 7 miles to the Park and Ride. A quiet park, we have been going there for lots of years, and Andy and Tracey (the wardens) can't do enough for you, they are more like friends than wardens. There are lots of eating places in York, we liked in particular, Piano & Pitcher. Sit out on the deck and watch the boats go up and down the river Ouse. We also liked Ask restauarant in the old Assembly built c1730, the ambience of the interior is stunning. A nice Chinese take away or sit down right at the park entrance.     "This is a lovely quiet site well situated for York and the surrounding area. The railway line that runs alongside the park is well shielded from sight and is a busy line but nothing you can't live with. We tried the local Chinese as recommended from previous comments and add that his is indeed a worthy contender for the best Chinese takeaway!!! 10/06/2011 05:07:59"
