"we were a bit sceptical about going to Morecambe for this half term break, as we had never been, but the park itself had very good reviews so chose it anyway. The park was relatively quiet though there was a kids activities session each day for a couple of hours. The pool and changing facilities and the club and bar are excellent here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Morecambe itself has had a fantastic refurb, the prom and surrounding areas were lovely, nothing could have been improved. was a perfectly romantic break, wouldn't have changed anything apart from staying longer. Lots of nice cafes, chippys etc. hardly any shops full of "tat"!! the weather was nice enough for us to enjoy the beach and that too was spotless clean. Places to visit nearby that we enjoyed during our holiday were Lancaster Castle & town, the lakes, Cartmel racecourse, Happy mount park (in Morecambe),my husband and son enjoyed Heysham golf course. "Overall holiday was very good. We have stayed at many holiday parks and the quality of the caravan was very high it was very clean and tidy with a few extra's we didn't expect like towels, tea towels, tea and coffee.
