"Great place, pretty, very quiet and remote but has all you need. Good pub, good food, friendly staff, clean modern lodges, excellent for mountain biking. Pool was lovely not too cold. Shop not stocked like a supermarket but has all the essentials and more. Kids play area looked very new and was brilliant. Ps don't go if you can't live without a mobile phone for a few days as no signal! 15/05/2011 05:09:14"
"Had a great time, kitchen had everything we needed. Will come back again as there was something for everyone, my two sons hired bikes, my father went fishing, and we all had a night at the observatory which was the highlight of our stay (worth booking in advance of your trip) Would recommend the lodges to anyone especially early and late session as midgies are not around. 15/05/2011 05:09:12"
"Staying at Kielder Lodges was a lovely experience. The staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. The cabin was immaculate and well furnished with all the mod cons. There was so much to do and see, and had my children been younger there were some great play parks. My boys who are 17 and 25 enjoyed the swimming pool and of course the fishing. We took some scenic walks with our border terrier, and took in the tranquility of the surroundings. In the evening we enjoyed the hospitality of the restaurant and bar.
