"What a fantastic development! I have stayed at number of lodges over the years but this one ticks all the boxes for a family gathering. The accommodation is fitted out to a very high standard right down to the bed linen and towelling robes. Lovely toiletries were also supplied. The accommodation was clean, the hot tub was maintained thoroughly every morning, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Although there are only lodges on the site, you are close enough to the town to pop in for any forgotten supplies or of course 'Fish n Chips' for tea. "I would recommend Lakeside Lodges to any family who likes the comforts of home... The accommodation is of a high standard and was very clean. Our children loved the 'Hot Tub' and so did the adults.. Although there are no onsite facilities there are local shops just down the road that have anything you forget to bring. The beach at Hornsea is good and there are ample 'Fish n Chip' shops about to cater for those hungry children! I really appreciated being shown how to use appliances upon our arrival and the security into the complex was excellent. Will definitely being visiting again :-) 29/08/2010 04:19:31"
