These outstanding Scandinavian log lodges nestle among trees within the sheltered walled garden in the historic Gadgirth Estate bordering the river Ayr. The magnificent 28 acre grounds boast a stunning riverside orchard and woodland walks barbecue areas plus private salmon and trout fishing (Mar 14–Oct 14). A laundry room is available for all dates.

Ayrshire is a welcoming beautiful area with much to offer visitors. Ayr 10 minutes' drive has quaint cobbled streets superb amenities and a lively nightlife. A wealth of outdoor pursuits cultural scenic and historic gems are close by.

"Just have just got back from a four day break at Gadgirth. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly reccommend it. We wanted to get away somewhere peaceful for our honeymoon, but close enough to the beach. We took our dog and he had a great time too, plenty of woodland walks and quiet beaches are all close by.     "Lodge was beautiful and well furnished. Loved the log burner and sauna. Secluded spot for rest and relaxation, but within easy reach of Ayr town centre by car. This holiday was to celebrate my wife's 50th Birthday and have a break from day to day worries and unwind. It was a great success and we didn't want to go home.
