"It is ideally placed for getting about to all areas of York, or for jumping onto the motorway to get to Leeds, Hull etc. It was straight out onto the main A59 into York City Centre or to get to the Park and Ride which we used every time. Although there was no on site shop, it was so close to Knaresborough or York, or Harrogate to get any shopping needed, and there were lots of places to eat nearby. It was so ideally placed it enable us to pack a lot into a 5 day stay. An Amazing Place, child friendly, peaceful site. 24/04/2011 05:07:34"
